Want to Access Census Bureau Statistics? Custom Training Available

Many Tennessee data users turn to the American Community Survey when searching out statistics about Tennessee’s population. Information about race/ethnicity, income and education attainment are among the information most frequently retrieved.

But other statistics about the nation are released by the U.S Census Bureau on an almost weekly basis. Data from 130 surveys flow on a continuing cycle and cover a variety topics on demographics, economy and housing.

If you want to learn about using these data products for business planning, grant proposals, research projects, municipal planning and more, there are free resources and training available.

Ron Williams serves as the Census Bureau’s Data Dissemination Specialist for Tennessee and Kentucky. He is available to assist with training and presentations that will help teach you about locating and retrieving data for your various projects. Services are free and can include webinars, video tutorials or classroom training.
