Want to see how the 2020 Census temporary hiring is affecting employment in your area? A new dashboard from the Tennessee State Data Center shows just how many temporary workers are employed in each state across the nation.


An accurate count in the upcoming 2020 Census is incredibly important for Tennessee. In hopes of increasing response rates when the forms go out in mid-March, the Tennessee Office of Criminal Justice Programs has announced a “Tennessee Counts” grant program.


Those helping to promote and raise awareness of the 2020 Census received some important information in November. The Census Bureau published a map showing how households will be invited to participate in the census next March.


The US census will take place on April 1, 2020, and a UT expert says it’s important for everyone—including college students—to be counted.


Tennessee Governor Bill Lee announced the appointment of 38 representatives to the Tennessee Complete Count Committee for the 2020 Census last month. The committee includes representatives from state and local government, elected officials and other local interests who can help raise awareness of the upcoming Census and reach hard to count population.


Every housing unit in the Tennessee will receive an invitation to participate in the 2020 Census… if that home’s address appears in the U.S. Census Bureau’s Master Address File (MAF). Across the state, the work is ongoing to ensure that happens.


A new Census Bureau map was recently released highlighting 2020 Census Complete Count Committees that have formed across the country and in Tennessee.


The countdown to the 2020 Census hits the one-year mark April 1. Communities across Tennessee are working to ensure a complete and accurate count of their residents.


Some communities in Tennessee will be invited to participate in the 2020 Census New Construction Program. This program captures new construction activity from May 2018 to April 1, 2020.
